A poem by Gwen

25th April 2013

Gwen spends 2 days a week at OPAL. This is one of her many poems….

Gone but not forgotten

Although we are apart

Your spirit lies within me

Forever in my heart

Time slips through our fingers

So we need to take our leisure

In a way that helps us to relax

And also gives us pleasure

Perhaps it takes us longer now

To do our chores each day

So time to do just as we please

Is often held at bay

My remedy, no chores TODAY

I will read and watch TV

Then I admire my garden flowers

While sitting sipping tea.
