Summer update

4th August 2015

As usual we have been busy and we are slowly ticking of the list of planned activities.

The trip to Blackpool went well, the ice show went down particularly well.  The day ended having a good meal before heading back to Harpurhey on the coach.  There were a few tired people the next day.

The BBQ to mark the new look garden was enjoyed by everyone and the sun came out for a while when it was time to eat.  The garden has benefited from physical work from JTI employees as well as a donation for new plants and garden furniture.  It looks fab, just need to keep on top of weeds now.  Thank you to all who helped out.

The Prom/ summer ball was a huge success and well attended. Everyone dressed up and enjoyed dancing and Karaoke , there was also ball room dancing that Jayne had been teaching everyone leading up to the day.

Charlene and Paul were crowned the King and Queen of the ball…..congratulations on being the winners, the competition was tough.

Still to take place is the Alternative Sports day.  Young people from The Network Challenge will be along to help out and take some photos,of each stage of the day.
