Corona diaries April 16th

20th April 2020

Hope we are all enjoying the sunshine!

We are still busy keeping in touch  with our group members. We have been on the phone, whats-app and Zoom. Most of the group have got the hang of Zoom now so are able to have daily conversations with friends from the centre.

Yesterday we had a sing along session – we all sang Happy Birthday to Catherine M’s dad who was 70 yesterday – Many Happy Returns!

We are also having regular staff meetings on zoom too.

Laura C has been very busy this week; she has joined in with all of our video calls, she has done lots of craft and puzzles. She told me when all of this is over she would like to get married to Simon, she speaks to him every day but is missing him lots.

Laura got lots of Easter eggs, she even got one from the police for displaying a rainbow that shes made in the window. she won a bottle of gin in an Easter competition too!

Bobby went out shopping with his mum this week – he bough some fruit, vegetables, chicken kievs and a cheese pie from M&S. He has been helping mum around the house and walking the dog too! Bobby doesn’t like Easter Eggs, he would rather have a bar of chocolate so he had lots of chocolate at the weekend and a couple pf beers.

Paul has been staying at home with his parents – he gets his shopping delivered- in his delivery was 2 Easter eggs one of them was a huge Chocolate orange egg!

He enjoyed Britain’s Got talent at the weekend – it was nice to see a local sing and sign group get the golden buzzer.

We hope everyone is keeping safe.

Don’t forget there is lots to do and see on our Facebook page.
